Full Email Body¶
Dear TTUHSC Records Custodians and Counsel,
As of 5:01 PM CT, Tue, Oct 7, 2025, TTUHSC has not acknowledged or
confirmed implementation of my Preservation Notice transmitted Oct 6,
2025, 8:30 AM CT, nor today's follow-up. The duty to preserve remains
active and binding.
Please provide within 24 hours (by Wed, Oct 8, 5:00 PM CT):
• Written acknowledgment that the preservation hold is in place, and
• The name, title, and direct contact for the designated point-of-contact.
Absent confirmation, I will (a) file a supplemental TPIA request for
records sufficient to show TTUHSC's receipt and internal handling of
the notice and (b) notify the Texas Attorney General's Open Records
Division of non-acknowledgment.
This reconfirms that the hold extends to any subsequently filed or
amended TPIA/FERPA requests, including graduate/PhD-year records
maintained by TTUHSC or the TTU System.
Respectfully,
Kevin Bass PhD MS
