Civil Action No. 5:17-CV-174-C

ORDER

The Court, having considered Defendants' Motion for Temporary Protective Order and
Stay of Discovery, filed September 1, 2017, is of the opinion that the same should be

GRANTED.¹ It is therefore ORDERED that all discovery in this case is temporarily STAYED
until the Court has addressed Defendants' Motion to Dismiss, at which time this stay shall be
automatically lifted without the need for a further order. The Court will set Plaintiff's Motion for

Preliminary Injunction for a hearing as soon as practicable if such a hearing is still necessary
following the resolution of Defendants' Motion to Dismiss. The deadline for responding to

Defendants' Motion to Dismiss is hereby shortened to 3:00 p.m. on September 13, 2017.

SO ORDERED this 5th day of September, 2017.
SAM R. CUMMINGS

SENIOR UNITED STATES DISTRICT JUDGE

¹While Defendants' Motion is not styled as an unopposed or agreed motion, the Court
notes that Defendants' Certificate of Conference indicates that Plaintiff's counsel "does not

oppose this Motion except to the extent it affects the Court's ruling on Plaintiff's Motion for
Preliminary Injunction." It is therefore unnecessary to wait for any response from Plaintiff.
